Sabine Lake Fishing is Great i am fishing up north on the northers Catching limits of Redfish and Speckled Trout we are fishing the bessie height marshes blacks bayou icw incoming tides my best bite also fishing birds my best baits are Stanley shrimp tails/browns devil eye cajun pepper and 1/4oz tru lock jigs tiped with fishbite shrimp also drift fishing the north sabine flats over mussel/shell 3 to 5 ft water catching nice speckled trout . The south winds started blowing and incoming tides got better this month the shrimp are moving in over the reef the water is clearing to green on incoming. i am fishing under the birds and drifting the reef boxing nice speckled trout to 6 lbs on the south end. The Flounder fishing is picking up with good numbers showing daily seeing more bait fish along the louisiana shoreline my best bait fishbite Xtream Scent 3.5" shrimp sabine pass channel is starting to hold few trout and flounder sabine pass jetties also holding big redfish sheephead and drum.
