Tsunami Walking Minnow
When the topwater bite starts sending shivers up your spine and accelerates your heartbeat
while fishing for speckled trout and redfish, you may want to walk the dog with an artificial lure that
looks and acts like a million bucks but won’t break the bank.
Tsunami Lures introduced the TS Walking Minnow in a 4-inch model in 2001. It was first designed with mostly freshwater
colors, but soon became available in the standard saltwater colors that you see in other top water lures. The difference
is in the holographic finish details.
Our team of anglers testing this bait included fishing guides from Port Arthur to Port Isabel as well as all
fishermen and women in between. Beginners, intermediate and experienced anglers all tested this bait for Angler Outfitters. We have
also received several reports from customers about the edge it has given them during bass fishing tournaments. From Dallas to
Virginia and the New England area this bait has been producing good catches of large mouth, striper, and hybrid bass.

Color Selection
The colors for the Tsunami Walking Minnow are typical of other top water lures with the exception of the holographic finish
and a unique variation of some of the standard colors such as the Chartreuse Head/Black Back/Red Eye.
Favorite colors of our team
include the Red Head/Chartreuse, Chartresue Head/Black Body (for darker water conditions), Chartreuse/Gold/Chartreuse, Red Head/White for saltwater
reds and trout. Freshwater favorites have been the Blue Back Chrome, Silver Scale/Black Back/Orange Belly, and Electro Prizm colors.

Bait Action
The "Walk the Dog" action on the lure is great, better than some of the older top waters that we have been using with a very
tight wiggle action. We found that the bait, no matter how fast or slow the retrieve was did not dive below the surface as with
other typical top water lures. It also has the rattles in the body that call fish in from a distance.
They also feature extra sharp black nickel finish Mustad treble, stainless steel split rings, and
3-dimensional laser eyes.

Durability and Pricing
The thing we love most about any top water lure is showing off all the lost paint and teeth marks after a good day of top
water action. You'll get the same result with the Tsunami Walking Minnow which is great because as soon as you come into the boat
ramp and everyone sees how beat up the lure is, they know right away that we had a good day. Priced from $4.99 and up it is reasonably
priced compared to other top water lures. Find your favorite color and just make sure you take two of them with you. If you aren't too
stingy, you'll let your fishing buddy borrow the other one because he/she will be dying to tie one on after seeing all the action yours
is producing.
