Wade & Kayak Fishing on the Coastal Bend of Texas
Angler Outfitters is back to doing some reading for the latest product review and looking at all the great photos and images packed
in the middle. A great little book especially if you aren't familiar with the areas it covers and just getting into saltwater fishing
the Texas coast. You might also be surprised to find some locations and tips you haven't yet tried in a familiar area you've been around for years.
This is like the Top Spot Map of wade and kayak fishing - lots of great locations and shows you exactly how to get there, how to launch or fish from
the area and additional info to help you catch fish - without a big power boat! This is the author's second book in a series and we sure hope
there are plans for a third one.
This book is good for the coffee table, but next time you take your kayak out or want to go fishing along the shoreline take it with
you. The maps will show you how to get to new spots(detailed driving directions), names of locations, parking spots and point out everything in each photo in detail.
Also has some great action photos in it as well. Be sure to always check out
Ray's web site - www.texascoastalfishingbooks.com where you can download
his latest aerial photos free.
About the Book and Author
Ray Crawford has been fishing the Texas coast for fifty-four years, and this book is the second in a series he has written on salt water
fishing in Texas. It is an in-depth look at the Coastal Bend region and covers every possible legal place where a person could drive to
and wade or launch a small boat such as a kayak. Bays covered include San Antonio Bay, Aransas Bay, Red Fish Bay, Copano Bay, Corpus Christi Bay,
Upper Laguna Madre, and Oso Bay. Almost 350 location photos, aerial photos, and maps used in the book can be used to give the angler a thorough
knowledge of any fishing area.
